Classic Pancake


Pancake or in Malay version,lempeng.Best eaten with butter + maple syrup or whipping cream + strawberry.Yummy! 

Ingredients

1.5 cups all-purpose flour
3.5 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1 tbs white sugar
1 1/4 cups milk,room temperature
1 egg,room temperature
3 tbs butter,melted
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Method

Sift the flour, baking powder,salt and sugar twice.In another bowl, beat the egg,add butter and beat the mixture lightly. Then,lightly beat the milk in the same bowl. Make a well in the center of the first bowl and pour the milk,egg and melted butter.

Pour the batter into frying pan. I use TEFAL non-stick frying pan so that I dont need to add oil into the pan. If you are using normal frying pan,just add butter while frying.

Serve with butter and maple syrup on top. I just use some honey ;p
